More lighting work. Added some image effects to the camera to get better color out of the scene. Also messing around with more particle systems. Probably tune some of the ones in the background down.

Woah long time since last update ~_~. Going to try and get back to posting once a week update~
Here are some of the stuff I have been doing since GDC.
Did some update on the environment base on feedback. Going to fix a few small part for it but for the most part I'm calling it done.
Doing a value study of a weapon from Darksider. Also as an effort to get better at painting I'm copying tilling textures from games. The first one is from Torchlight 2.
Also some homework. The drawings didn't turn out so well =/. Need A LOT of practice for painting and design @_@. I'm fairly ok with the character as I don't want to be a character artist so I'm just having fun doing it instead of stressing out.
Last but not least I'm starting on next environment. It will be in Unity with a top down view like Diablo or RTS camera angle. It's currently in block out stage and I'm planning to spend a lot of time concepting everything out first before going diving into the 3D. Going to do a bunch of studies on the side while that happen~

Finally got some stuff into the engine yay~. Still need to do:
*Fix roof
*Build a few more set pieces
*Finalize texture
*Lightmapping -o-"
Also getting ready to sculpt my weekly prop. Going to paint this one in 3D-coat to experiment 3D painting and get better at painting.
Did 2 renders of the tanks that I worked on for class. Need to go back and add more design elements + details and fix lighting as well.

Rawr more progress on the environment. I changed the texture of the wall temporarily so I can see it better against the other materials while I build the set pieces.
I also worked on a Glock for the past week and a half or so. Main goal was to try and get more familiar with PBR. Going to try and make one small prop a week on the side while working on a big project as well.~~

Did a tilling sci-fi wall. Tried using metal map instead of the usual spec. Not sure if I like it but will continue to learn both. Also tried some tessellation out, the wall on the left has it on. Can't really see much because I think it should be use to break silhouette while this wall only has a lot of indents.

Finished the ear. Got some good critique from the professor as well. It was good practice.
Started on the hay tilling texture for the environment since it was the only material I didn't really know how to make. After several failed tries in Zbrush tilling I finally got it to work out ok. Definitely a long way from being a finish texture but I'm happy how it starts off for now. Also going to use some alpha maps later to create even better looking silhouette for the roof.
